Are you a supplier or manufacturer situated in Turkey? Would you like to learn more about APQP4Wind, but do not know how to get started? Then contact one of our new Country Ambassadors in Turkey: Sedat Bilgin and Şule Bülbül, who are ready to help you with technical expertise and practical information about APQP4Wind.

When Şule Bülbül, Quality Control and Assurance Manager at GRI Renewable Industries, and Sedat Bilgin, Managing Director of Kuzuflex, handed in their application to become APQP4Wind Country Ambassadors, it was clear that they had the right expertise to represent APQP4Wind in Turkey. As they fulfilled all the stated requirements by APQP4Wind, the Board of Directors collectively approved Sedat Bilgin and Şule Bülbül as new Country Ambassadors to help suppliers and manufacturers in Turkey getting started with APQP4Wind.

Great potential in the Turkish market

Over the past decade, Turkey has developed into a leading market for wind energy thanks to its large territory and excellent wind speeds that offer ideal conditions for wind energy production, according to WindEuropeIn the news story from September last year, they celebrated this along with the fact that Turkey had reached a cumulative wind energy capacity of 10,000 MW wind and developed a strong wind energy supply chain.

In terms of how far Turkish suppliers and manufacturers are with implementing APQP4Wind, General Manager of APQP4Wind, Kim Nedergaard Jacobsen shares that 125 employees from 12 different companies situated in Turkey have already participated in one of the APQP4Wind training courses. This shows great potential, he says and elaborates:
“When talking about the implementation of APQP4Wind, Turkey is a promising market. Because of the growing interest in APQP4Wind in Turkey, there is a need for strengthening the familiarity with and knowledge of the APQP4Wind concept locally. However, one of the greatest barriers to the implementation of APQP4Wind is language. That is why we are happy to announce that we have welcomed two new Country Ambassadors in Turkey to help answer the suppliers' and manufacturers' questions in Turkish about how to implement APQP4Wind based on best practices.”
