APQP4Wind Specialist Refresher Training
Requirements
To attend the Specialist Refresher Training, it is required that the participants have previously attended an APQP4Wind Specialist Training course held by one of the approved APQP4Wind Training Providers. The participants must be able to document this with a certificate.
Refresher Training can be attended from 6 months before and up to a maximum of 3 months after the expiration date stated on the certificate. If a participant wishes to renew their certificate more than 3 months after their current certificate has expired, they must sign up for a full Specialist Training course instead.
Learning objectives
After this training, the participants will have updated and refreshed their knowledge on:
- Updates of the APQP4Wind Manual, Workbook and Analysis Tool.
- Main changes within the core tools (e.g., DFMEA and PFMEA).
- Dos and don’ts in the implementation of APQP4Wind, including a specific case.
- Relevant interpretations, application, management, and implementation of the topics.
- Changes in OEMs subscribing to APQP4Wind.
- How to join the APQP4Wind Community.
Target group
Specialists and managers involved in the APQP4Wind process within sales, quality management, coordination, product - and system development, etc., at wind power suppliers, sub-suppliers, manufacturers, and customers, who already hold a certificate for the APQP4Wind Specialist Training course.
Certification
Once the participants have completed and passed the exam of APQP4Wind Specialist Refresher Training, each participant will receive a new certificate approved by the APQP4Wind Secretariat. The certificate will be valid for four years from the exam date.
