Get updated on APQP4Wind at CHINA WIND POWER 2022 - postponed

Do you want to get updated on the developments of APQP4Wind in China? Then you can meet APQP4Wind representatives from our Board Member companies, one of our Country Ambassadors in China, and Training Providers at CHINA WIND POWER 2022 in Chengdu from November 24 to November 26.

CHINA WIND POWER keeps an eye on the development of new technologies and promotes the expansion of wind power applications. The trade fair has grown into one of the world’s largest and most influential wind energy exhibitions with 652 exhibitors and 82,532 visitors last year.

From November 24 to November 26 this year, CHINA WIND POWER will offer international and local wind power companies a platform for the global wind sector to seek industrial development, tackle climate change, and explore solutions for energy at Western China International Expo City in Chengdu.


Meet APQP4Wind representatives at the trade fair


Throughout this year’s fair, APQP4Wind representatives from our Board Member companies, one of our Country Ambassadors in China, and our approved Training Providers are ready to welcome you and answer any questions you might have about APQP4Wind at their respective booths:

At Goldwind's (风科技) booth number 3-B17, you can meet APQP4Wind Board Member, Chuang Yan, and APQP4Wind Country Ambassador in China, Jiqiang Ye.

Employees from APQP4Wind Board Member companies; LM Wind Power (LM风电公司) will be at booth number 3-C13 and ZF Wind Power (ZF风电公司) will be at booth number 3-B13.

Participate in TÜV Rheinland’s Seminar 'Quality Matters in the Wind Industry'


On November 23, 2022, international and local quality experts from the entire wind power supply chain are invited to join in-depth discussions about best practices, experiences, and suggestions for continually improving the quality and minimizing the risk and cost at TÜV Rheinland’s seminar called 'Quality Matters in the Wind Industry'.

At the seminar, you will learn more about quality within the wind industry from representatives from APQP4Wind, Vestas Wind Systems, Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, Goldwind, Sungrow, Shanghai Electric Group, Sanyi Renewable, and TÜV Rheinland.

Chief Executive Officer of APQP4Wind, Kim Nedergaard Jacobsen will give an online presentation about APQP4Wind from a global perspective, including an explanation of the concept, content, tools, and benefits. The speech will be translated into Chinese. APQP4Wind Country Ambassador in China and Head of SQ&D NEA at Vestas Wind Systems, Guo Yuehua, will also join to give a speech about Vestas Wind Systems’ application of APQP4Wind in the supply chain, and APQP4Wind’s Working Group Leader and QM & HSE QM QMP at Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, Henning Hecker, will talk about how international wind power quality experts interpret the APQP4Wind application.

Join Bureau Veritas’ presentation about APQP4Wind and Supply Chain Management


Project Manager and Approved Trainer from Bureau Veritas Certification, Mr. He Peng, will talk about the value of APQP4Wind and Supply Chain Management during Bureau Veritas’ live speech and broadcast event at their booth on November 24.

The wind power supply chain is facing many challenges and opportunities on the journey to APQP4Wind, especially in the context of China’s local wind power market, which brings more challenges and risks in product and technology innovation, project delivery, improve quality and reliability and reduce costs of poor quality.

For how to enable sustainable value creation and supply chain collaboration through APQP4Wind, Bureau Veritas’ Wind Power Team together with partners in the supply chain will explore and practice the way, paths, and methods to give you an introduction to build, implement, and integrate APQP4Wind's value, principles, process, and tool.

The presentation will touch upon the following three topics:
- How APQP4Wind promotes the value of empowerment within the supply chain in the face of complexity and uncertainty to ensure sustainable value in the process of strategy, operation, and new product development.
- The main value and risk-driven solution, when implementing APQP4Wind effectively in practice.
- APQP4Wind Footprints of Bureau Veritas’ team in the wind industry; practice and prospects for future collaboration.
