Enrique Escuredo Comonte joins APQP4Wind Board of Directors as the new representative for LM Wind Power
Enrique has been a part of LM Wind Power for almost 20 years and holds a master's degree in Chemistry from Oviedo University in Spain. As a Board Member, Enrique hopes to contribute with his learnings from years of experience in LM Wind Power and the experience he has gained in managing the PAPP with direct customers. He also looks forwards to joining the great work that the board has been doing. He says:
I have always been passionate about providing the highest quality products to our customers, and APQP4Wind plays a crucial role in achieving this goal. Therefore, I am thrilled to become a part of the APQP4Wind Board of Directors and thankful for the opportunity to contribute to the great work they have been doing.
Enrique sees excellent potential in the future of APQP4Wind and is motivated to serve on the APQP4Wind Board because of the benefits advanced product quality planning brings to the entire supply chain. In addition, it facilitates efficient decision-making and communication to reach customer expectations and ultimately create a happy customer.

The tool's effectiveness has been established through its implementation in the automotive industry in the 1990s, and we anticipate similar benefits to be realized within the wind industry."
A part of the development from the beginning
LM Wind Power, a GE Renewable Energy Business, is a world-leading designer and manufacturer of rotor blades for wind turbines, with blade factories in Brazil, Canada, China, India, Poland, Spain, France, Turkey, and the United States. LM Wind Power has been a proud member of APQP4Wind and has been a part of developing the framework since its beginning in 2015. APQP4Wind is an initiative to standardize the wind industry's advanced product quality plan. In addition, the initiative provides a platform for efficient and effective decision-making and communication between the entire supply chain. This method helps avoid misinterpretations and production delays, leading to a satisfied customer.

Today, the APQP4Wind Board of Directors contains representatives from Vattenfall, Ørsted, GE Renewable Energy, Goldwind, Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, Vestas Wind Systems, GRI Renewable Industries, KK Wind Solutions, LM Wind Power, and ZF Wind Power. The Board of Directors is the highest authority in the APQP4Wind organization and is responsible for all matters concerning strategy, marketing, project governance, and contractual obligations.
