The APQP4Wind Community has reached a significant milestone with the addition of Windey Energy Technology Group and, more recently, Ming Yang Smart Energy. This expansion brings nearly all of the industry’s leading OEMs together to support APQP4Wind’s global quality assurance framework, reinforcing its role as the unifying method for supply chain quality, risk reduction, and cost efficiency across both onshore and offshore wind sectors.

At WindEurope 2025 in Copenhagen, APQP4Wind showcased how quality practices strengthen collaboration in the wind industry. Through a well-attended conference presentation, an insightful networking event, and the launch of our new digital Member Platform, APQP4Wind shared tools and knowledge to support companies in starting their APQP4Wind journey.

As a leader in wind energy technology and a key player in the energy transition, ENERCON specializes in developing, producing, selling, and servicing onshore wind turbines. By implementing the APQP4Wind methodology, the company aims to establish a joint network and speak a common language with its customers and suppliers. In 2024, ENERCON became an APQP4Wind Company Member to further strengthen collaboration in the wind energy sector.

2024 was a transformative year for APQP4Wind, highlighted by the release of Manual 1.3, the successful debut of our fourth training provider, SGS, the election of our new Chairmanship, the launch of our redesigned website with exciting new features, and the continued growth of the APQP4Wind Community. As we look ahead to 2025, we are inspired to build on this momentum and continue driving alignment, maturity, and innovation across the wind industry and beyond.

The APQP4Wind Community is experiencing rapid growth, now representing over 150 companies. This includes seven major utility companies and developers, twelve original equipment manufacturers, and an extensive network of suppliers. This strong and diverse community highlights APQP4Wind's crucial role in enhancing quality management and driving sustainability across the renewable energy sector.
