The modern SCHAUENBURG entity was formed in 2020 by integrating five esteemed enterprises. Among these, C + L Industrietechnik, a leader in plastic molding, and VIGOT® Schlauch (founded in 1864) with its brand MAXIMALL® have played instrumental roles in driving advancements in renewable energies. The bundling of competencies sets the foundation for a steadfast path into the future.

The primary application range of SCHAUENBURG Industrietechnik products encompasses cooling systems, generators and inverters, venting tanks, control cabinets, pump assemblies, and steel structures for wind turbines. Notable are the hose assemblies under the MAXIMALL® Windpower brand and the custom steel structures. All products for wind energy adhere to international standards such as DIN EN ISO 9001 and APQP4Wind.

With six branches in Germany, SCHAUENBURG Industrietechnik can offer a wide range of valuable services and products locally from a single source. In the field of renewable energies, competencies have been bundled to act as a system supplier and to accompany significant projects nationally and internationally.

APQP4Wind as the foundation for the product process

Prioritizing quality standards led to incorporating the APQP4Wind process framework in SCHAUENBURG Industrietechnik, ensuring rigorous quality controls and well-thought-out production processes. New employees in both production and administration are familiarized with the essential facts necessary for product manufacturing as part of their onboarding process.

Today, in SCHAUENBURG Industrietechnik, the APQP4Wind framework serves as the foundation for a smooth production process that meets the market requirements of the industry. Concurrent quality assurance closely monitors internal processes, ensuring rigorous quality controls and accurate production processes. The training of four employees in the APQP4Wind concept ensures double coverage of the relevant areas, guaranteeing that capable internal contacts are available at all locations to assist prospects and stakeholders at any time.

"As a Key Account Manager for renewable energies, I monitor all essential indications and steps published on the topics of qualification, sustainability, and the future of technology," says Jessica Steinchen, Key Account Manager at the SCHAUENBURG facility in Bremen. "Creating synergies with associations, partners, suppliers, and customers is important to me. We know advancing the energy transition is only possible through collaborative partnership."
