Engineered long-lasting seals for the wind industry

For more than 40 years, the business experience of F.LLI PARIS(FP) allows customers to profit from innovative technical solutions guaranteed for a wide range of sealing problems and troubleshooting, supplying seals to a variety of heavy-duty industries: from steel mills to paper mills, from earth moving equipment to the naval sector.

Thanks to strategic partnerships with both wind turbine manufacturers and engineering companies, FP has developed a wide range of seals dedicated to the wind energy business since 1998: textile-rubber reinforced seals, large rubber-to-metal seals, pitch and yaw profiles, and O-Rings plus a variety of custom-made items.

What makes F.LLI PARIS different from other larger producers is the elasticity in making investment decisions for matching customer needs in terms of unique developments, quality, and quantities required to fulfill the project. The business range of FP now covers 79 countries worldwide and is still growing, with a dedicated local presence with its own offices in the hot investment areas.

Challenging but rewarding implementation

F.LLI PARIS started its journey with APQP4Wind in 2021 by sending technique specialists and administrative managers to APQP4Wind Training courses at DNV. The trainees are now certified APQP4Wind users and more and more employees will join the group in the future. In January 2022, FP became an official member of the APQP4Wind Community by signing up for the APQP4Wind Company Membership.

More than 10% of the FP´s turnover is related to the wind industrial segment. Therefore, joining APQP4Wind was a desirable and necessary choice to raise awareness of the potentiality of FP's global wide-ranged production. Implementing APQP4Wind into the system used in the past 25 years of wind seal production has been a tough challenge, as the previous way of operating was easier. However, FP believes in the potential of the professional APQP4Wind framework and trusts it will lead to great success. Sales and Marketing Director at F.LLI PARIS, Gianstefano Foresti, says:
