On July 7th, our approved APQP4Wind Training Provider, Bureau Veritas Certification (BVC), held a seminar dedicated to APQP4Wind in Wuxi, China. APQP4Wind Chief Executive Officer, Kim Nedergaard Jacobsen, joined online and explained the APQP4Wind concept in depth. The future APQP4Wind framework caught the participants’ attention and interest. APQP4Wind Greater China Lead, Jingchen Xi/Christina, was in Wuxi to represent APQP4Wind at the summit. She introduced a detailed APQP4Wind Company Membership Guide for all interested parties to learn the standard APQP4Wind journey.

Quality experts from various companies attended the conference and shared experiences and practices in implementing APQP4Wind. APQP4Wind Country Ambassador in China and Director of the Composite Material Quality Department in Goldwind, Henry Wang, shared Goldwind’s expertise in quality management under low-cost competition. He also participated in a roundtable debate with quality experts from Envision Energy, GE Vernova, and CRRC Zhuzhou Insititute Co., Ltd. Wind Power Business Unit (CRRC Zhuzhou). During the debate, they discussed the struggle between improving quality and lowering costs in the fierce competition in the Chinese market and answering questions from the audience.

Bureau Veritas CER Director for East China, Helen Lan, thanks the wind companies that attended the summit:
